Brian Reed, CEO and Broker
Brian was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. After graduating from Sharyland High, he attended Texas A&M pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science. Soon after graduating, he was hired by a division of American Express Financial Advisors as a financial analyst. This provided Brian with extensive knowledge of the securities market while at the same time encouraging his interest in real estate due to it’s investment potential upside. After deciding to pursue a career in real estate, Brian spent just over 2 years as a right away appraiser for Allen, Williford and Seale in Houston before acquiring his REALTOR license. In 2006, Brian partnered with longtime friend, Ryan Peterson, to begin the conceptualization of The Ryan & Brian Real Estate Team. The RnBTeam continues to grow every year as they provide their clients with a memorable experience and are committed to providing their clients with unparalleled service.
Brian is happily married to his beautiful wife, Tania, who together have two daughters, Alana and Rachel. In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with the family outdoors, fishing, hunting, and doing carpentry.
Tania Reed, Team Leader & Office Manager
Tania was born in McAllen, Texas and raised in Reynosa Tamps, Mexico, which allowed her to experience and embrace the distinct cultures of both countries and to grasp the unique mix both provide the Rio Grande Valley. Tania graduated from La Universidad Valle del Bravo, where she attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. Tania has well rounded and diverse work experience, mostly in customer care and marketing. She has always had a passion for people and a gift of salesmanship.
Tania serves the critical role of Client Experience Manager for The Ryan & Brian Real Estate Team, and she is known for providing a level of superior client service. She is aware that purchasing a house can be one of the largest financial investments most people will make in their lifetime. Ensuring a client’s needs are met is not the only important thing to Tania. She understands that a satisfactory experience is more complexed and involves being available, understanding, and flexible and creating a partnership with each client. That is why she makes personal relationships the highest priority. Her goal and desire is to provide clients a first-class, memorable experience. Tania married Brian Reed in 2005, and they have two beautiful daughters, Alana and Rachel Grace, that keep their lives busy and fulfilled. Tania also has a passion for teaching dance and maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle for her family.
Michelle Gonzalez, Executive & Marketing Assistant
Michelle was born in McAllen, Texas and later raised and graduated high school in Corpus Christi. She attended South Texas College, where she pursued studies toward an Associates of Arts degree, and continues to grow both personally and professionally through her work in the real estate industry. Michelle has over 6 years of experience in business and human resources management with a focus on property management and inspections. She excels in both individual and collaborative business settings and serves as the Executive Assistant. She performs a multitude of duties to support The Ryan & Brian Team to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.
Michelle is happily married to her husband, Jason, who together have a beautiful daughter named Hailey.
She enjoys gaining knowledge and wisdom from each individual she comes across by turning every interaction into a positive one. Out of the office she also enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, reading, traveling, fishing, hunting and cooking.
Victoria Reyna, Client Experience Manager
Born in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, Victoria made the Rio Grande Valley her permanent home in 2006. She graduated from McAllen Memorial High School and went on to attend South Texas College and Rio Grande Valley College, where she studied nursing.
While pursuing her education, Victoria began her career with Farmers Insurance, starting in sales as a licensed insurance agent for Property & Casualty and Life & Health. Over the course of eight years, she advanced within the company and was promoted to Office Manager in 2018.
During that time, she was also growing her family. Today, she is the proud mother of three beautiful girls and spent five wonderful years as a stay-at-home mom before returning to the workforce. When she’s not working, Victoria can often be found at the baseball park, dance studio, or stock shows supporting her children and their livestock projects.
After her youngest started school, Victoria decided to take a leap of faith and apply for the Client Manager/ISA position. She has since found great fulfillment in her role, where she enjoys connecting with clients and building strong, lasting relationships from the very first conversation. As a proud veteran’s wife, Victoria brings compassion, dedication, and integrity to everything she does — both personally and professionally.
Jessica Marroquin, Lead Selling Agent
Born and raised in Harlingen, Jessica brings a strong background in leadership, business, and community involvement to the real estate world. Before transitioning into real estate, Jessica spent over seven years as a Regional Manager, overseeing business operations and developing teams with a focus on customer service and growth.
With more than a decade of experience working alongside local high school band programs as the Director of their Color Guard, Jessica has a long-standing passion for mentorship, creativity, and teamwork.
A graduate of Texas State Technical College in Harlingen, where they studied Business Management Technology, Jessica continues to apply that business foundation in every aspect of their career.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys cheering on the Astros, spending time with family and a beloved godson, and hitting the golf course whenever possible.
Pedro Ayala, Home Buying & Selling Advisor
Pete is a Rio Grande Valley native who lived in San Antonio for 4 years and attended The University of Texas at San Antonio where he received a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Medicine. After graduation he worked as a fitness instructor directing up to 30 people a class. In 2021 that’s when he realized he wanted to make a drastic change and pursue real estate. Even though real estate was a new adventure for him and wasn’t familiar, he was excited as ever to pursue something new. He has always found joy in helping others and being a realtor is his new found passion. Buying a property is going to be one of the biggest transactions for most people. You can trust that Pete is always going to do everything and anything he can to make the process memorable and as smooth as possible. In his free time Pete loves spending time with dog Rocky, hanging with family, and working out.
Alejandro Pardo, Home Buying Advisor
Alex was born and raised in Edinburg, Texas. After graduating from Economedes High School, he attended UTRGV and earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology. While waiting to apply for medical school, Alex attended a real estate conference in Chicago. This conference sparked Alex’s interest in real estate. He started with Lacks Furniture as a Customer Service Associate to start saving money for his real estate investment goals and was soon promoted to the sales team. Soon after, Alex completed his real estate courses while working full time at Lacks and continued to develop the necessary skills to be an excellent real estate agent. After passing his exams, Alex then joined the Ryan & Brian Real Estate team to to work alongside many seasoned real estate agents and provide outstanding customer service to home buyers.
Lauren Roel, Home Buying Advisor
Lauren is a dynamic professional with a background in marketing and a passion for real estate. After 6 years of successful experience as a marketing specialist, she had decided to embark on a new journey by pursing her real estate license at South Texas College. As she transitions into the real estate industry she is eager to apply her marketing expertise to help clients navigate the real estate market effectively. She is excited about the possibilities that lie ahead with the Ryan and Brian Real Estate Team and looks forward to growing and succeeding in this industry of professionals!!
Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds solace and joy in staying active and maintaining a healthy life style! She believes that a healthy body and mind are essential for success in both professional and personal realms.
Athena Vasquez, Home Buying Advisor
Athena was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. After graduating from Sharyland Pioneer High School, she attended UTRGV and then transferred to The University of Texas at Austin to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Education. While substitute teaching for 2 years since graduating, she found herself often revisiting her passion for Real Estate. While being a substitute teacher across the RGV, meeting many teachers and students along the way, she studied and took her exams in order to obtain her Real Estate license. After obtaining her license, she went in search of a strong and passionate team to join, which led her to the Ryan and Brian Real Estate Team and is excited for what her future holds since joining!
In her free time, Athena likes to spend time with family and friends, workout, and attend concerts!
Christina Danielle Alaniz, Home Buying Advisor
Born in Iowa and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Christina Danielle is proud to call South Texas home. A graduate of La Joya High School, she has always carried a deep passion for giving back to her community and helping others achieve their goals.
Currently a senior at UTRGV majoring in Finance, Christina Danielle has taken time off from school to pursue her real estate career full-time — a profession that allows her to serve others while making a lasting impact in their lives.
For Christina Danielle, real estate is about more than buying or selling homes. It’s about building meaningful relationships, guiding families through one of the most important decisions of their lives, and giving back to the community that helped shape who she is today.
Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with her mother and fiancé, whose love and support have been her foundation through every step of her journey. She’s dedicated, compassionate, and committed to helping every client find their perfect place to call home.
