THE RYAN & BRIAN REAL ESTATE TEAM
Ryan, a McAllen native, spent most of his life in Mission and graduated from Sharyland High School. After graduation he attended Schreiner College in Kerrville, Texas, before transferring to Sam Houston State University in Huntsville where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice. On a visit home, Ryan realized the significant growth in the RGV and the opportunities real estate investments had to offer. With an entrepreneurial spirit, he pursued a career in real estate. In 2006, Ryan partnered with long time friend, Brian Reed, the two now continue to excel in real estate with The Ryan & Brian Real Estate Team.
Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys spending his time with his beautiful wife, Julie and their young son, Calvin.
Brian Reed, CEO and Broker
Brian was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. After graduating from Sharyland High, he attended Texas A&M pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science. Soon after graduating, he was hired by a division of American Express Financial Advisors as a financial analyst. This provided Brian with extensive knowledge of the securities market; however, he soon learned of the investment potential of real estate and decided to pursue a career. After acquiring his REALTOR license, Brian partnered with long time friend, Ryan Peterson. Today, The Ryan & Brian Team of Expert Advisors continues to grow every year as they provide their clients a unique experience and are committed to providing their clients with unparalleled service.
Brian is happily married to his beautiful wife, Tania, who together have two daughters, Alana and Rachel. In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with the family outdoors, fishing, hunting, and doing carpentry.
Tania was born in McAllen, Texas and raised in Reynosa Tamps, Mexico, which allowed her to experience and embrace the distinct cultures of both countries and to grasp the unique mix both provide the Rio Grande Valley. Tania graduated from La Universidad Valle del Bravo, where she attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. Tania has well rounded and diverse work experience, mostly in customer care and marketing. She has always had a passion for people and a gift of salesmanship.
Tania serves the critical role of Client Experience Manager for The Ryan & Brian Team of Expert Advisors, and she is known for providing a level of superior client service. She is aware that purchasing a house can be one of the largest financial investments most people will make in their lifetime. Ensuring a client’s needs are met are not the only important thing to Tania. She understands that a satisfactory experience is more complexed and involves being available, understanding, and flexible and creating a partnership with each client. That is why she makes personal relationships the highest priority. Her goal and desire is to provide clients a first class, memorable experience.
Tania married Brian Reed in 2005, and they have two beautiful daughters, Alana and Rachel Grace, that keep their lives busy and fulfilled. Tania also has a passion for teaching dance and maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle for her family
Cynthia Saenz, Sales Manager
Cynthia was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and attended South Texas College & The University of Pan American working towards a bachelors degree after graduating from Mission High School. After years of being a domestic engineer Cynthia decided to re-join the workforce and was hired as an Administrative Assistant for The Ryan and Brian Team of Expert Advisors. While working with clients it brought back the passion from her childhood, when her father worked with a development company for many years. This passion definitely played a huge role in her choice in obtaining her Real Estate License. Now, as she serves in the role as Client Experience Manager, her goal is to not only help families find a house, but a home to build as their own.
She is the mother to 2 beautiful daughters, Makaelah & Myah, and son, Mateo, that keep her on her toes on a daily basis. In her spare time, Cynthia enjoys working out and spending time with her family.
Abigail Alaniz, Marketing Coordinator
Abby was born in McAllen, Texas and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. Abby graduated from the University of Texas Pan-American, where she attained a Bachelors in Fine Arts Degree concentration in Graphic Design. Abby has well rounded and diverse work experience in marketing and graphic design. As the marketing coordinator for the Ryan & Brian Real Estate Team, she finds great pleasure in making sure your property is well marketed and highly visivble. She does not sit back and hope your property gets attention, she goes out and shines a light on it!
In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, going to culinary school, and serves on the Leadership McAllen Executive Board.
Jessica Ocaña, Transaction Coordinator
Jessica was born in McAllen, Texas and raised in Pharr. After graduating from high school she had an interest in the medical field. She graduated as a medical assistant and worked at a doctors office and hospital for many years. After marriage and the start of a family, Jessica realized the medical field was not her passion; however, she still had a desire to help people. She decided real estate was a great avenue to serve others in achieving their home selling and buying needs. She quickly realized she was gifted at helping on the back end of transactions and getting the files from under contract to closed.

Born in McAllen, TX and having grown up in the Rio Grande Valley, Kathleen has had the opportunity to witness first-hand the transformation of her small home town into one of the fastest growing cities in America. She loves watching new businesses being created by local entrepreneurs, creating jobs for the community and bringing a new taste of innovative ideas to the RGV.
Whether she is working with families who are relocating to the RGV or families who are born & raised here, Kathleen feels it has been one of the greatest blessings to use her experience to guide them through the home purchase process, negotiate the best deal possible and hand them keys to their new home!
Jessica Marroquin, Home Buying Advisor
Jessica was born, and raised in Harlingen Tx. after graduating from Harlingen High she attend TSTC where she studied Business Management. She was intrigued with the thought of helping people make one of life’s biggest decisions. As a Buyers Specialist she takes pride in helping, and dedicating her time to help families find a place they can call Home!
Anthony Longoria, Home Buying Advisor
Anthony has been working in real estate since 2011. His clients will tell you that his hard work and dedication shine through. He has experience in residential, commercial, foreclosures, tax sales, and investment properties. He is a member of the Greater McAllen Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. With strong family roots in the RGV, he has many ties to the local community.

Frank D. Velasco, Home Buying Advisor
Frank was born in McAllen, raised in Mission and graduated from McAllen ISD. As the youngest member of the Ryan & Brian Team, Frank began working in real estate at the age of 16. Frank has grown over the years to attaining his real estate liscence, working with different brokers around the Valley, and is always looking to learn something new. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from UTRGV and plans to implement everything he learns from the classroom to the real world and vice-versa. As the Administrator for the Ryan & Brian Team, Frank enjoys keeping customer’s files organized and allowing for a smooth process.
In his free time Frank enjoys keeping up with current events, and spending time with his family and friends.
Chris Flores, Home Buying Advisor
Chris was born and raised in McAllen, TX. After graduating from McAllen High School, he decided to pursue a degree in Psychology from The University of Texas Pan American. He began his real estate career in 2016 and loves helping first time home buyers achieve the American dream of home ownership. He is a member of the Greater McAllen Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Chris is currently working to get his GRI designation to add to his expertise in helping his clients get the best deal possible on the homes of their dreams.

Listen I started shopping for an investment property in the McAllen area around 2007. I was looking up properties and as soon as I mentioned to the agents I contacted I was from Massachusetts every one of them got me off the phone quick. Too much work for them to work with me!! Agent went out of her way to meet them outside of normal business hours and even at a Starbuck and willing to work around the buyers, making them feel really comfortable. After viewing a few homes, the agent had an idea of what they wanted and before their home was on the market, she had Robert and Maricruz in the home and ready to make an offer in a few short days.
My husband and I worked with Ryan and Brian while selling a home and purchasing a new home. They were enthusiastic, hard working, efficient and extremely professional. Pretty easy process. It did take a little longer, 8 months, but team kept in constant contact and worked hard to sell home. Ryan went above and beyond to make sure the home was sold by coming by the house to make sure it was alright. Letting them know what could be done to make it seller better, coordinated with a couple of contractors to make sure they were doing their job as well.
