THE RYAN & BRIAN REAL ESTATE TEAM
Ryan, a McAllen native, spent most of his life in Mission and graduated from Sharyland High School. After graduation he attended Schreiner College in Kerrville, Texas, before transferring to Sam Houston State University in Huntsville where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice. On a visit home, Ryan realized the significant growth in the RGV and the opportunities real estate investments had to offer. With an entrepreneurial spirit, he pursued a career in real estate. In 2006, Ryan partnered with long time friend, Brian Reed, the two now continue to excel in real estate with The Ryan & Brian Real Estate Team.
Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys spending his time with his beautiful wife, Julie and their children, Calvin and Avery.
Brian Reed, CEO and Broker
Brian was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. After graduating from Sharyland High, he attended Texas A&M pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science. Soon after graduating, he was hired by a division of American Express Financial Advisors as a financial analyst. This provided Brian with extensive knowledge of the securities market while at the same time encouraging his interest in real estate due to it’s investment potential upside. After deciding to pursue a career in real estate, Brian spent just over 2 years as a right away appraiser for Allen, Williford and Seale in Houston before acquiring his REALTOR license. In 2006, Brian partnered with longtime friend, Ryan Peterson, to begin the conceptualization of The Ryan & Brian Real Estate Team. The RnBTeam continues to grow every year as they provide their clients with a memorable experience and are committed to providing their clients with unparalleled service.
Brian is happily married to his beautiful wife, Tania, who together have two daughters, Alana and Rachel. In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with the family outdoors, fishing, hunting, and doing carpentry.
Tania was born in McAllen, Texas and raised in Reynosa Tamps, Mexico, which allowed her to experience and embrace the distinct cultures of both countries and to grasp the unique mix both provide the Rio Grande Valley. Tania graduated from La Universidad Valle del Bravo, where she attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. Tania has well rounded and diverse work experience, mostly in customer care and marketing. She has always had a passion for people and a gift of salesmanship.
Tania serves the critical role of Client Experience Manager for The Ryan & Brian Real Estate Team, and she is known for providing a level of superior client service. She is aware that purchasing a house can be one of the largest financial investments most people will make in their lifetime. Ensuring a client’s needs are met is not the only important thing to Tania. She understands that a satisfactory experience is more complexed and involves being available, understanding, and flexible and creating a partnership with each client. That is why she makes personal relationships the highest priority. Her goal and desire is to provide clients a first-class, memorable experience.
Tania married Brian Reed in 2005, and they have two beautiful daughters, Alana and Rachel Grace, that keep their lives busy and fulfilled. Tania also has a passion for teaching dance and maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle for her family.
Abigail Alaniz, Marketing Coordinator
Abby was born in McAllen, Texas and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. Abby graduated from the University of Texas Pan-American, where she attained a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts Degree concentration in Graphic Design. Abby has well rounded and diverse work experience in marketing and graphic design. As the marketing coordinator for the Ryan & Brian Real Estate Team, she finds great pleasure in making sure your property is well marketed and highly visible. She does not sit back and hope your property gets attention, she goes out and shines a light on it!
In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, going to culinary school, and serves on the Leadership McAllen Executive Board.
Carol Trauthwein, Transaction Coordinator
Coming from a strong accounting background, Carol made the switch to Real Estate Transaction Coordination in 2013. Carol is the go-to person for her real estate agents for all things that need to happen from the moment a contract is executed to post-closing.
Carol is obsessed with staying organized and making everyone’s life easier. It brings genuine joy to her heart to ease the burden of others, both in her work and personal life. There are not many things that help to grow a company more besides trust and dependability, and she strives for both.
As an original member of NARESP, National Association of Real Estate Support Professional, she is at the forefront of transforming the effort to support our Realtors.
Carol is a Mom and it is natural for her to want the very best for those she works with in her professional life. Building strong relationships with all involved in a transaction is fundamental in getting it done! She makes time and effort to come together as a team to a successful closing, where everyone walks away feeling like their needs were taken care of in a respectful and professional way.

Jessica Marroquin, Home Buying Advisor
Jessica was born, and raised in Harlingen Tx. after graduating from Harlingen High she attend TSTC where she studied Business Management. She was intrigued with the thought of helping people make one of life’s biggest decisions. As a Buyers Specialist, she takes pride in helping, and dedicating her time to help families find a place they can call Home!
Diego Fernandez, Home Buying Advisor
Diego has been working in real estate since 2014. He was managing commercial and residential construction projects in the past. He enjoys everything real estate and saw his calling in helping people find their forever homes on the buying side of real estate. He works tirelessly to get the absolute best deals for his clients and always leaves a transaction better than he found it. He prides himself on bringing great positive energy to every person he meets. With strong family roots in the RGV, he has many ties to the local real estate industry.
Juan is a native of the RGV, being born in Mission Texas and raised in Donna. Juan has spent most of his adult life helping people. Juan spent almost 15 years in case management and teaching people how to live healthier lives. Juan is very motivated to continue assisting people in realizing their dreams of becoming homeowners while building strong relationships with the people he helps. On his time off he is a HUGE sports guy and dedicates a lot of his free time to the youth in our community as a sports official.
Daniel Navarro – Home Buying Advisor
Daniel is a Rio Grande Valley native who lived in Kingsville for three years and attended Texas A&M University of Kingsville where he received a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science. After graduation he worked in a fast-paced environment in public service and event coordination which led him to the thought of pursuing real estate. With the support of friends and family he was able to fully commit his arsenal of tools and traits in networking and people skills to make the career choice a reality. He enjoys having barbecues with my family and the occasional tee time with his peers and colleagues. He is grateful for the support shown from everyone in his life and is excited for this new milestone and is motivated for an early success in this industry.
